- Avoid handling your handbags after you have applied hand lotion. I am totally guilty of that with my favorite Molton Brown Gingerly lotion.
- Know your leather: Leather, Suede, Leatherette or Textile bags all have different needs. You can find cleaning kits like this one on Amazon, but what I like to use on my leather bags for a quick wipe is my beauty eye and lip towelettes. They seem to work just fine to occasionally wipe down the exterior of my my bag. My logic is, if the goodies in that wipe are good enough for the skin around my eyes, they will be gentle enough for my handbags. Comment bellow on your thoughts on that!
